SAFARI DIRECTION OF USEA safari allows navigation from one island to another, making the most of the sites visited, without the constraint of timetables, and only the weather to take into consideration. Each catamaran has two people aboard. A French speaking, bilingual guide, who has been specially trained in the organization of safaris, supervises the safari. A motor boat accompanies the safari to insure the safety, and to transport the baggage from one bivouac to another. We distribute a 40 liters water-proof bag to each person, with the possibility of leaving personal effects at the base. The navigation is done on a boat without any baggage; the motor boat can carry your personal effects needed for the day's outing. In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, carefully prepared by your guide, the day is dedicated to one particular objective; an island, a reserve, or some other remarkable place, situated 5 to 15 miles away, in other words, between 3 and 5 hours away. At around mid-day, lunch is served in a village or on the beach, followed by a break for swimming, or sun bathing. The rest of the day is devoted to visiting the islands, creeks, villages and beaches.
